New 150-seat Ferco installation at Cinema City Fountain Views, Dubai
Cinemacity Fountain Views is located in DownTown Dubai, UAE. The new, licensed, concept cinema features six exclusive screening halls with premium reclining seats for an immersive movie experience.
The VIP service at Cinemacity includes Japanese inspired food, cocktails & mixed drinks, with a butler available at the call of a button. To complement the luxurious services on offer, special customised seating was created by Ferco to enhance the audience experience with no compromise on both comfort and style.
Two premium Ferco cinema seats were chosen for the Fountain Views project; The Verona Zero Wall and the Opus Glide.
The Verona Zero Wall is a luxury reclining seat with a retractable central armrest and an extended swivel table for dining convenience. Configured in a twin seating style for the auditorium at Cinemacity Fountain Views, the seats are enclosed within Ferco’s Privata Panel to provide complete privacy and personal space. The Premium Verona Zero Wall comes with a padded footrest which is operated at the touch of a control panel located on each side of the seat.
Built-in footrest sensor and finger guards were fitted to the seats during installation for safety of use. For easy maintenance, the seat and footrest cover are detachable for cleaning or replacement. Embroidered seat numbers were also specified in accordance with the client’s preference.
For a variety of VIP seating choices, a similar Verona Zero Wall build was adapted for Cinemacity’s other VIP screening auditoriums; Including a central console cup holder and dual USB charging ports in place of the retractable armrest instead, allowing more of a ‘space sharing’ ethos. A total of 49 seats were installed throughout these other screening halls.
Ferco’s Opus Glide cinema seat operates without the need for motors and reclines to the desired resting position as individual audience members lie back into the seat. For the Cinemacity project a total of 102 Opus Glide seats were installed. Additional bespoke features include customised smart swivel tables with built-in cup holder. Detachable headrest, back and seat covers were added to the seat for easy cleaning and maintenance. Configured in a twin seating style, the Opus Glide provides patrons an economical seating option without compromising on comfort, or the VIP atmosphere created at Cinemacity Fountain Views.
